Why are your rates so affordable? What's the catch?
There is no catch. As I have said, photography is my passion and I feel gratified to be able to play a role in a couple's most memorable day through photos that are for keeps. What I do is not simply for monetary consideration but an offering of my art. This is one reason why I don't charge high for my services. Two other reasons: my proficiency in computer graphics cuts down my photo production time, and working from home with no studio to maintain reduces my overhead.
Do you offer wedding albums?
No, but maybe in the future. I just want to keep the cost down. But if you are keen on having one, I can recommend reputable sites that customize wedding albums.
Do you do Videography?
No, but again, I can refer you to a good one.
Are you well-equipped for the job?
Yes, I possess the right tools of the trade. I shoot all in digital format using a Professional Digital Single Lens Reflex Camera. I have backups of my equipments for security reasons; a professional lighting apparatus so that photos taken will not look like snapshots with harsh shadows. How safe are digital photos?
I leave nothing to chance when it comes to doing my job. Every event, I meliculously backup each memory card (film equipments). The memory card and its backup are stored in different locations to guard against loss or damage of the photographs. As soon as your photographs are downloaded in the computer, I then transfer them in a CD and store it a fire-proof safe. There is no such thing as overkill in securing your priceless photos.
Digital photography has exceeded the capability of traditional picture-taking. For one, you could not duplicate films as backup while on location. And when you lose or damage those films, they will be irreplaceable. These are non-issues with digital photos. |
When will we be able to see our pictures?
Because I am the first eager person to see my own work, I waste no time in working on your pictures as soon as I get home. In 4 weeks' time, my clients are able to view their online photo gallery. From that time on, clients can pick the photos they want printed in a large format.
Do we have to pay for reprints?
No, unless you ask me to do it for you. Because my contract package includes Picture CDs with full reproduction rights, you may go to any photo lab and have reprints.
This is an important information that any couple shopping around for photographers must ask.
Do you travel for wedding coverage?
Yes, sometimes I do out-of-town shoots although I am more in the New Jersey and New York areas.
